Impulse voltage generator is a kind of high voltage generator of impulse wave, used to test the insulation performance of electrical equipment when subject to over voltage (lightning strike) in atmosphere. The impulse voltage generators produced by the Company can be divided into L type and H type by structure, be divided into indoor fixed type, indoor air cushion type, outdoor fixed type and quick-mounting type by working environment and be divided into swinging arm type and stationary type by discharging manner.

The FZC impulse voltage peak voltmeter is used to measure single impulse voltages with front time over 840nS. It can also be used to measure and store peak values of impulse voltages, chopped impulse voltages, and other types of single impulse voltages.
